Ces champions qui font peur

Bot / support

Bard

need an all in support with ignite. All in at lvl 2 to 3. Leona is probably one of the hardest lanes I have faced as bard. Zyra is also very difficult to deal with because of the amount of damage.

  • If those chimes appear in lane do not let him grab them as they restore mana.
  • Remember he travels faster in his tunnel and the at the end he gets a free stun unless you flash.
  • try not to stand in front of minions as that is fairly easy stun to land with bard q
  • do not chase him - he is fast as fuck with chimes and q slows. The tunnel is likely a trap. I cannot tell you how many times I have baited people into chasing into a tunnel cuz i was low only to get stunned at the end and gangbanged by my team

Spellthief bards are gonna try to meep you with Autos, so just back off each time they move directly toward you. They'll eventually get frustrated, move too close, and both of you can easily afford to hit him a lot for one meep auto. (Good trade for you) Watch for what their adc does: if he's close enough to all in you if you get stunned, it won't be worth hitting the bard. If you can poke through minions at bard, he'll back off and decide to be more passive.

If the bard has gone ancient coin, you're in luck. He's no reason to meep you unless actually going ham, which you should be able to identify easily by watching marksmen with no gap-closers move toward you.

As a rule, bard's W costs a shittone of mana (he can barely put out 4 on a full lvl 1 mana pool) Bards don't want to quick-cast it on their ADC but they'll do so instantly if you all in them. (Or not if it's on CD, watch for when bard turns around into fog, and returns with a little less mana 5 seconds later. He's put one down nearer tower. CD is 11 secs early, I think.) When the bard does quick cast on their ADC, you probably won't notice the health it gives (tiny) but if their adc is already slowed and bard is forced to quick-cast, the speed-up will be negligible too. Bam, bard has no mana, 11 second wait and the spell did next-to-nothing. Mind games.

If you still can't play against a bard, play loud vapourwave and get into his skin.

I am one of the few bard mains and its best to go someone like cait as ADC against him and stay behind your caster minions. If he goes up to q either poke him a bit then run or dodge the q which isn't amazingly difficult. I find morgana is good against him because of the shield and the lockdown on the q.

Try and poke the ADC a bit too because if you can force the shrines he loses mana fast.

And please avoid running away near walls and hiding in bushes.

Couple of things to keep in mind:

  • Bard is squishy, so pick someone with CC who can catch him out like Blitz or Naut, with ignite if possible
  • His health relics use up a lot of mana in early game which means less mana is available for poke, so poke enough to drain his mana
  • Stay behind groups of minions to dodge his Q
  • His Q projectile is slow, so just sidestep it if possible
  • When his meep passive is up stay clear of his AA, otherwise you risk getting slowed and are an easy target for his Q
  • Pay attention to your positioning regarding walls, minions or other champions so you can prevent getting stunned by his Q
  • You can just walk over the health relics to destroy them, so just do that if possible
  • Going through the portal does NOT make you immune to CC, so just get him out of there if he's making an escape
  • His ult projectile is pretty fast at short range, so keep that in mind when engaging after he reached 6. It's fairly slow at long range, so just sidestep it if he tries to catch you out.
  • Punish him while he's casting his Q as it briefly forces him to stand in place. This is the perfect time for skillshots.
    • Once his Q is down, he doesn't have any meaningful CC aside from his ult so that would be a good time for trading.
  • It's almost NEVER a good idea to follow Bard through his portal when you're chasing because he will have a guarenteed wall-stun with his Q once you get out. I've seen way too many people being baited by this. Follow at your own risk.
  • His ult can be tricky to land, so stick very close to his adc when you're fighting to prevent his adc from getting away when he ults you.
  • If you see a chime lying around in a good position, you could possibly set up a bait. It has to be in a position where he would feels safe otherwise he won't go for it.
  • As the Support, avoid early trades with your AA when Bard's meep passive is up as he will likely outdamage you.
  • When you engage against Bard, make sure you're not standing directly in front of a friendly champ AND in Q range. In teamfights this is especially important because this could catch out one of your carries.

Nautilus

Naut is actually quite squishy early on in lane, his shield also uses up so much mana early. Best thing to do is harrass him as much as possible, especially when he goes to get a cannon minion with relic shield.

Sona

she's squishy like paper and incredibly slow early on. Before 6 she has no cc, no mobility abilities. To dominate lane you don't want to take E as Sona till 8, so you have no movespeed boost. A catch on Sona means a dead Sona. She has no way of easily avoiding cc (she wants dagger, chalice, and ss fairly early, so boots are usually not in the budget), and once she overextends she's dead.

If she can get you low, you can't dive her and consequently get destroyed. The key here is to not lose the first few trades - once you have a few levels you can all-in (after that first three seconds) and just obliterate the opposing bot.

Remember if you pick a melee support there is absolutely no way for you to fight Sona at level 1 and a decent Sona will harass you the whole time if you try to shove for level 2 so you have to decide if the harass is worth the rush for level 2 for a potential all-in. Also she should be taking E at level 4 in my opinion and mobility boots will be far more important than a chalice (she will fix her mana addiction with potions in the meantime). Pay attention to the aura circle around her, she will have to position close to her adc to benefit them both and if you are in range for a q auto from both of them it will seriously chunk you. Remember that Sona is an extremely lane dominant support who functions well later on in the game as a siege bot sustaining her team with W and with E to help the team rush objectives and to help her get around warding.

-Use the jungler to punish aggressive play from Sona, if you do not get help and she is able to play aggressively for free it will be incredibly difficult to win the matchup due to Sona's lane bully kit.

-Forcing her to use W is very good! Her W costs a huge amount of mana compared to her Q and every time she is forced to W is taxing on her limited mana pool.

-Be careful with a melee support, at level 1 Sona can punish extremely hard so rushing 2 may be more difficult, if you do get it the all in should be quite straight forward to win.

-Be careful of her burst, it's pretty obnoxious up to level 9.

-In addition to the aforementioned point keep track of her powerchord and ult, ignite/exhaust.

-She is very easy to catch out warding, no escape and very low base stats.

-As with any other support champion a missed q or a wasted powerchord is an opening, Sona is relatively straightforward in when she is strong and weak so pay attention and abuse her weak points.

-Be aware that her scaling is not the greatest and being some cs down in lane to a Sona in certain matchups is okay. With every cs consider if Sona will harass you for it and if you can trade favourably back with her (if she walks too far forward into the creep wave or has cooldowns) or if you should concede the cs.

Thresh

  • Positioning is key, stand behind minions early game! He can't hit you behind them.
  • When under turret don't stay between turret and wall (easiest hook of a Thresh's life)
  • When trying to dodge a hook be careful not to tunnel vision on it so much that you get into flay range.
  • Try to save mobility like flash and other things till after you see hook animation, because if you flash before he uses any skills you are most likely going to get hooked.
  • Poke him down! I see so many people pick Leona or alistar into thresh. Yes, it works if you can do it properly but a Janna or Nami that can dodge a hook and knows how to trade will screw over a Thresh.
  • Try to get level 2 first! If Thresh can get level 2 first he will zone you and get easy hooks or flays.
  • Take advantage if he misses hook. I see a lot of people do nothing when a thresh misses hook and that's bad! Just like Blitzcrank, when hook is down that is your chance to trade.
  • Side brush control! That should be a Thresh's favorite spot if they are ahead or have lane control. Ward it!
  • If you are in flay range, thresh pretty much has a guaranteed hook. Avoid this. Every fifth minute there is also the risk of a flash-flay into hook.

Zyra

From an ADC perspective: If you get a chance to pick, take Graves or Lucian. Only trade if you have a support with a shield or a heal otherwise she will out trade you. Fast push for level 2. If you don't then you will get chipped out hardcore and you won't be able to all in and live. Don't kill the plants until they start attacking a minion, otherwise she will get all 3 frost queen stacks and you'll lose a lot of health. (They take 3 hits as well so that you can know when to last hit them)

From a support perspective:

Pick Leona or a sustain support. If you pick Thresh, you'll hook plants all the time, if you pick Blitz, you won't hook a plant but you'll have to move around a plant to get the hook which will make it a night mare. If you pick Braum your shield does fuck all. I've never lost to a morgana because plants will stop a binding, and my q will pop your black shield and then all CC will go through.

If you do pick thresh, there is a way to instant win the lane nearly every time. Hard push level 2, flash flay into a hook. Zyra is dead.

Shields destroy her, Morg shield, karma shield, Janna shield, hell, even Lux should work, while her damage is high, its also very easy to predict, and similarly to adc dashes, once shes on cd shes very vulnerable. Any time you can reasonably max shield on a champ, do so.

Jungle perspective:

Start Red, gank at level 2. (from blue side), and pick a jungle with a gap closer. Yi works well because you can Q over the E and Zyra will die.

General Perspective

Even on a losing team I'll be within 5% of the highest damage to champions by the end of the game, and that's with mobi boots and the only damage items being Frostqueen and Liandry. Zyra is probably the highest priority target on the enemy team because she has no way of escaping, unlike most ADC who will take QSS and have a speed boost/dash. In lane, focus Zyra not the ADC. In team fights only leave her alone if she is WAY back.

Most Importantly

Be decisive. If you stall, I'll fuck you over no matter how tanky you are. Having two enraged plants rips a team to shreds, so dive me if you can. If you get a stun or silence on me then I will have only gotten off the ult OR the plants, not both. I need both to win the fight.
